Negotiation & Cost Management

Energy, broadband and telecoms, card processing, waste, insurance and stock. We take each one back to the market and argue it out.

Take it back to the market

First we build the register: what you pay, who you pay, when it renews and how much notice you owe. Then we tender. Energy usually goes first because it moves fastest. Every quote comes to you with the terms summarised in plain English, and you sign, not us.

Contract register with every renewal date and notice period
Tender run to at least three suppliers per line
Plain English summary of terms before you sign
Quarterly recheck and renewal handling
Typical length Six weeks, then rolling

How it runs

How the work runs

Five stages, from the first questionnaire through to the renewal we chase on your behalf.

01

Discovery

A short questionnaire and one review call. We map what you pay, who you pay, when each contract ends and how much notice you owe.

02

Review and benchmark

Bills and contracts read line by line for errors, then every rate benchmarked against comparable businesses.

03

Recommend

One page per cost line: switch, renegotiate or leave alone, with the numbers behind each option.

04

Switch and implement

We handle the switch with the supplier. You sign the contract; we do the paperwork around it.

05

Monitor and renew

Renewal dates tracked so nothing rolls onto an out of contract rate, and a quarterly recheck on the lines that move.

What we review

The five costs we look at first

Business energy

Gas and electricity taken to a panel of suppliers, bills checked for errors, renewal dates tracked.

Broadband and telecoms

Lines sized to what your card machines and EPOS actually need.

Card payments

Transaction rates, terminal hire and EPOS software benchmarked against what businesses your size really pay.

Wholesale and stock

Buying group pricing, so the cost of what you sell is negotiated too.

Budget and cash

A live view of fixed costs, stock spend and cash position, so a squeeze is visible weeks before it reaches the till.

We stay out of regulatory and licensing applications, legal drafting, audits, recruitment and procurement admin. When a job needs one of those, we say so.

What you get

What you keep afterwards

The contract register

One page holding every supplier, rate, end date and notice period. Yours to keep whether we carry on or not.

A renewal calendar

Dates diarised with the deadline to act, so nothing rolls over onto an out of contract rate.

A quarterly recheck

We re-run the market on the lines that move, and tell you when it is not worth switching.

Send twelve months of bills.

We will tell you what we think is recoverable before you commit to anything.
