What we collect, and why

When you use our contact form

We ask for your name, your email address and your message. We use them only to read your enquiry and reply to it.

When you complete our client questionnaire

The questionnaire asks for your name and an email address for our reply, and then for information about your business: the company and trading name, what the business does, how long it has traded, the number of employees, the number and location of sites, your energy supplier and contract end date, your broadband and phone provider and contract end date, your card payment provider, your transaction rates, the split between card and cash sales, your main stock or wholesale suppliers, the stage the business is at, your target launch date, your main competitors, how the business is priced and when pricing was last reviewed.

Most of that is business information rather than personal information, but it is commercially sensitive, and where it identifies you it is treated as personal data. We use it for one purpose: to understand your position well enough to tell you whether we can help and what the work would cost.

When you book a call

Bookings are handled by Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address and telephone number, and passes the appointment details to us.

Automatically, when you visit

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, your browser type, the pages you requested and the time you requested them. These exist for security and for diagnosing faults.

We do not use Google Analytics, or any other analytics or advertising tracking, anywhere on this website.
